My name is Ekaterina Vedenina, I was fond of journalism and documentary photography for 5 years before I became a mother. And with the advent of the child 8 years ago, I got involved in family journalism. For the last fourteen years, I lived and worked in Saint-Peterburg. Since June 2022 I have been living in Antalya, Turkey. At the moment I am engaged in documentary photography the topics of freedom, human rights, family, growing up and female identity are interesting. Besides photography, I am fond of psychology, walking the streets and just contemplating people, and sports activities like snowboarding and biking. In photography, as in life, I am inspired by the magical moments of truth, when a person becomes himself and expresses himself. Initial photography Education was at the Smena photography school 2007, the Kadr film school 2008-2009, studied documentary photography at the Faculty of Photojournalists at the Union of Journalists 2011-2013, at the Dokdokdok School of Documentary Photography 2021-2022. 2015 – local competition named after Karl Bulla “Century VISIBLE FEATURES”, family portrait nomination – 2nd place
