As a father of two, I found documentary photography is the best way to capture pictures of my family. I believe that the best smiles are those we are not forced to. Although it takes a lot of efforts and anticipation to capture the moment with this photography style, the outcomes are authentic and much more meaningful. There is no need to over makeup or dress up for our ‘Day in the Life’ session. I normally don’t direct you what to do or where to look. Basically, it is just me being there observing how the event or your day unfolds, find its natural beauty and capture the moments from my perspective. That is my style of photography.
Ten years experience for portrait photographing; National senior photographer of China; Cooperative photographer of the magazine "Portrait Photography" Member of WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association); Charter Member of FPJA (Family Photojournalist Association).
Hi, I am P Venkata Rajesh . A lot of people call me PVR. I am an IIM Grad turned Contemporary Wedding and LifeStyle Photographer. I bring in an insane amount of passion, a pure heart, a fun personality and of course truck loads of patience. I believe in a non - serious, relaxed approach to family photography and document in a warm, humorous way.
My specialty is creative documentary photography, weaving moments into my images that are iconic symbols of the day. With a background in photojournalism, I am a storyteller at heart and have been recognized internationally for my work.
I studied History back in my University time, but besides my major study, I joined a documentary filmmaking course taught by a local veteran producer. That was when I started to discover my interest in videography and photography. Once graduated in 2008, I saved most of my salary from my first job and bought my first ever camera. I became more addicted to photography, and especially family photojournalism, because it has the magic to freeze a moment and tell a great story. Thanks to another experienced teacher, I was able to learn from him more advanced photographic techniques and philosophy, and gradually I have engaged myself with wedding and family photography.
I studied Journalism in college and I once was an international journalist based in Seoul. Both my academic and professional backgrounds have influenced my documentary and photojournalistic family and wedding photos. And those timeless and priceless photos define who we are and nothing makes me more thrilled than documenting our lives as they are. Life is a series of moments, and those moments are fleeing away from us instantly; that is why photography is incredibly powerful and important to our lives, and I feel extremely honored to be part of every moment. I do what I do, coming from my heart, passion and love.
Ever since I was a teenager, I have always enjoyed taking pictures with the camera my dad passed onto me, capturing the things, people and places around me. In 2007, I decided to turn this passion of mine into my career. Since then I have been shooting weddings, engagements, special events, family, kids and babies. I love telling stories with my camera, and my pictures demonstrated my characteristic style and unique perspective, simple yet elegant. I take great pride to apply my skills and talent to document the important and precious moments of life of my clients into lasting fine art pictures. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to capture these memories for my clients so they can cherish a lifetime.
Family photographer, passionate about travel, stories, and new experiences. I make my way of seeing the world the perfect tool for storytelling and eternalizing happy moments. Among many dreams in life, the biggest one is making a difference in people's lives, eternalizing unique moments and being able to leave a legacy of love and smiles around the world. I see photography as the window to the soul, where through an image we can travel back in time, whether past or future and feel the captivating energy of an eternal smile.
Tired of posed lifestyle, Insta-perfect images that crowd social media today, Faith strives to capture real, authentic everyday moments that you'd want to keep forever. The goal is to have beautiful images that document your life right now, photos that you will treasure over the years, that tell your family story. "Growing up, my grandfather always had a video camera in hand. He recorded everything- weekday dinners, birthday parties, trips to the mall, playing the piano, performances, from every day to big moments, he's documented them all. However, this is something that he began when he first had kids, photographing his wife and children in the various homes and countries they lived in. Half his lifetime later, I get a glimpse into his life before I was born and into moments I don't remember." It's from this deep appreciation that Faith has for her grandfather's life-long effort that drives her to create the same for you. The challenge is that because we live it, we don't see the beauty in our own every day. And sometimes it just requires the decision to invite an extra pair of eyes into your home and you'll have tangible memories to show to the next generation.
My experience as a documentary family photographer started in Hong Kong 3 years ago. I lived there with my husband and was in the position to focus 100% on my photography business. Before that time I only would photograph as a side business. The last year I stayed in Hong Kong (2018) I mainly would use a documentary approach with families. This period of time in Hong Kong really influenced my vision of photography, it was such an amazing experience that I wanted to capture the essence of living abroad as a family. Living in small apartments with children en be creative with the space you have. It made me realise there is no perfect picture. Only a perfect story. Now I am back in the Netherlands. I would like to continue this way of photography. I want to take my personal experience and photography skills to different families and places in the world.
