Polona Avanzo is a Family Photojournalist of Ljubljana, Slovenia

I have always been interested in photography but my curiosity and love for nature led me to study forestry. However, my passion for photography never left me. After my degree in forestry, I started to study photography as well. Being a mum of two, I know how joyful and difficult at the same time parenthood is, I decided to combine my two passions in documentary family photography - real and memorable moments of everyday life.

Lifestyle Photojournalist
Hamburg family photography by Nina Gebke of Germany

I am Nina, a documentary family photographer based near Hamburg, Germany. I am specialized in full-day family reportages for which my heart always skips a beat. I want families to fall in love with their lives and I want to empower them for acknowledging their uniqueness. Creating art from true stories of real-life is what drives me and I want children to see where they come from. If you are looking for someone who follows you around for a day like the good friend who hasn't been visiting for a long time, ready for a chat when you are but otherwise happy with a piece of cake and a good cup of tea, then let's chat and make plans. I am looking forward to telling your stories. With love, Nina

Tallinn family photography and portraits by Elika Hunt of Harju County Estonia

I love what I do. I’m lucky that my passion’s my work. It’s the best possible starting point in creating results with the maximum love, attention and care. Being a photographer, I feel great when I’m surrounded by real life, and draw a lot of inspiration from art, music, dance, nature, my children and my beloved husband. Photography helps me capture anything I feel is important to remember. One photograph can bring me right back to the feelings, sounds, and even smells of the moment. With every picture, I am telling mine and your family’s unwritten stories and giving them that gift to keep and pass along.
