Flevoland family photography by Louise van den Broek of Netherlands

Our greatest wealth (Dennis) was born in 2016. It's great to watch him grow up and the best sound is his burst of laughter! Yes, literally all clichés are true (fair is fair, even the less fun)! Since we have our dog Floora Dennis seems to flourish even more and it is really beautiful to see the two together. I am secretly quite a house sparrow. We have the luxury that we live wonderfully outside on a farm (arable farming) and I can, therefore, be found in and around the house. Floora is a real working dog and once a week I am going to drive her sheep. That is really my way of discharging and getting new energy and inspiration. It's the little things in life that I love so much. Since those little things can actually be very big. That is why it has become my passion to capture moments in life. Whether this is a wedding, birth or just a normal day "taken from life". No posing and looking in the camera, but real life. Pure - Narrative - Real and also a bit raw.

Gonda Meurs is a Netherlands based family photographer in Noord Holland.

My first paid jobs were posed newborn photo shoots. Quickly I realized that making photos of the moments which are normally not being photographed are much more beautiful than the posed ones. Like hugging the baby when a bit sad, when struggling with the tiny buttons to dress the baby or just the quick kiss by the brother or sister. All kinds of moments when you really capture emotions and thats what I am enjoying a lot. 4 years ago I became mother for the first time and photos are far more valuable to me than before. So many funny, unexpected, cozy and definitely ‘frustrating’ family moments, which are every day different. I really enjoy having my oldest son around (4 years) when he comes of the toilet, while pulling up his pants up to to his armpits…. Or my youngest son (2 years) trying to put a sandwich at once in his mouth. These kind of moments have made my decision to specialise in documentary family photography incorporating Day In My Life Photography.

Noord Holland family photography in Amsterdam by Charlene van der Gracht

How lucky am I to capture precious moments in a family’s day to day life. I am a real family photographer with a love for sincere emotion. I make a family document that shows how much love you spread. But more important, I'll make you realize that you also receive a lot in return from your loved ones. It is a lot of fun for me to be able to show you and your family the whole story of your day from a different perspective. That includes of course the laughter, the teasing, the giggles and the tears. I see it and I capture it.

During a photo report, everything revolves around you or you. Who I am is not important; I am present but also not. I put you at ease and listen to your wishes. As soon as I put down my camera I am Sandra, born in 1973 and a photographer. Crazy about traveling, sports, music, reading and going out. A real summer and evening person who enjoys life. But I prefer to have my camera, a Canon, around my neck to do what I love the most: photography. After the basic training at the Fotovakschool in Amsterdam, I continued with the training to become a professional photographer. A very nice education that I enjoyed and completed alongside my full-time job. After that, I followed various training courses, when I felt more and more which way I wanted to go with my photography.
