Documentary Family Photography for Gelderland, Netherlands
Are you Ready to Schedule a Documentary Family Photo Session?
FAMILY COMES FIRST - Recently, some of our Netherlands family photojournalists have communicated their readiness to work with families who are able to carry on with their normal life and who want it documented. Family Photojournalist Association professional members offer a distinct and natural style of unobtrusive photography that will capture genuine, candid moments of you, your children, and even extended family enjoying time together...everyone gets in the pictures and you will likely forget the photographer is even there.
The purpose of documentary family photography is to tell a story — your story. You will be able to feel the love that you have for one another in the images. You will see the beauty that results when you are not posed or directed by your photographer to sit in a contrived position and smile on command at the camera. The FPJA has an abundance of top-ranked, Gelderland family photographers who are available right now. Find yours today!

My whole life I have been fond of photos and photography. That is why in 2010 I decided to develop myself further by following a photography study. In 2012 I obtained my diploma as a professional photographer. Here I became even more enthusiastic about photography. The fact that I can also make others happy with this and make them happy is something I love the most! It's nice that people dare to open up and let me into their lives. That they trust me to capture a part of their lives and see how beautiful it is to keep these valuable memories forever. I keep finding that special every time and that makes me truly happy and happy! My husband and I have a wonderful family with a son and daughter and our sweet dog Lola, which we love very much. We have a lovely family and are very happy with this. I love to travel a lot. There is so much to see in the world and that does not necessarily have to be very far away. There is something to discover everywhere and something to enjoy (and of course to photograph, because even then I want to capture as much as possible). I often use these photos again for the cards and posters that I make. I love black and white photos, which is reflected in my work, but I also love photos from the 50s and 60s. I also find street photography fascinating, I think it is beautiful that it reflects a time image and that it is real. In addition, I really like humor in photography. That is probably because I also think humor is very important.
Willeke Kieft is a documentary family photographer who lives in the Netherlands. She has been photographing people for years now and developed a documentary style. Her passion: Connect | Capture real, pure moments in all-day life | Secure intimacy for life & generations | Represents unique family connection & interactions by storytelling photos. Willeke lives with her boyfriend Ralph and her two beloved energetic sons in Arnhem, the city she loves because of the green nature that surrounds it. She loves life; small things make her happy like a full moon, sunrays, a beautiful little bird in her garden, the smell of springtime, the smile of a stranger, kids conversations and kids fantasy plays. She looks forward meeting new people and discover new places. Also when this is outside the Netherlands, actually, she loves to!
Friends tell me I am a man with many hobbies. "You do everything, don't you?" Well, I can't deny that. I have a curious mind and I try a lot of different things and some things stick with me. That's how I started skateboarding, (wind)surfing, riding a motorcycle, learned to fix this motorcycle, and rebuild an old moped. Broadening my mind and learning different skills is what gives me energy. However varied these hobbies might seem, what I experience by mastering new skills is the rough, pure, and real sense of life. Jumping off a curb with your skateboard has something pure. No focus and you will fall, too tense and you will fall, a foggy head, and you will fall. This means there has to be some kind of balance between focus and relaxation. Unimportant elements of the day will disappear into the background and you only live this very moment, and that is 'real'. With my photography, I am looking for these pure and real moments. When I take pictures, I capture life how it is and goes. This means that in a family shoot everyone is allowed to decide for themselves what they wear that day, or how tidy the house is. Life consists of so many things that have to be done, that are supposed to be or that are not allowed. Leave it! Let it flow, it doesn't matter, beautiful moments arise everywhere, I'll capture them.
