I have been a professional photographer for more than ten years specializing in portrait and ceremony photography, experienced in photographing weddings, maternity and children.

Photojournalist and journalist enrolled in the Tuscany Register since 2007, with a degree in journalism and a strong predisposition towards visual culture and iconic communication. She is incurably attracted to any feline and has always been fascinated by the art of photography and by the possibility of telling facts and stories with the sole power of images. My photographic debut took place very early when on the occasion of my first communion I was given a fantastic Polaroid, a "magic box" that allowed me to tell stories by putting everything interesting that passed in front of me on film. The beginning of my business in the photography sector dates back to after the advent of digital, during the early 2000s, when fascinated by this colorful world made of colors, emotions, joys, tears and sequins, I began to tell stories following the style that was most familiar to me, that of reportage and storytelling.

I love what I do. I’m lucky that my passion’s my work. It’s the best possible starting point in creating results with the maximum love, attention and care. Being a photographer, I feel great when I’m surrounded by real life, and draw a lot of inspiration from art, music, dance, nature, my children and my beloved husband. Photography helps me capture anything I feel is important to remember. One photograph can bring me right back to the feelings, sounds, and even smells of the moment. With every picture, I am telling mine and your family’s unwritten stories and giving them that gift to keep and pass along.

Hi, I'm Mauro and I'm an Italian-born newborn, children and documentary family photographer based in London. I became a professional photographer in 2020 although my passion for documentary photography started in my teenage years when my mum gave me her 35mm film camera she bought in the late 60s. I never stopped documenting our family events, the days out at the beach and our travels since then. My work has been selected by the Historic England Archive as part of the 'Picturing Lockdown Collection' and I have been selected by the British Journal of Photography as the winner of Portrait of Britain 2021. I am happily married and live with my wife and our 6 years old girl. I know how exhausting, chaotic but also beautiful and funny life with kids can be but, with my photography, I want to show how your 'every day', no matter how ordinary or little interesting it might look to you, it is in fact so extraordinary and full of emotional ingredients that make your story as a family so beautiful and meaningful just as it is.

My images showcase some of my favorite photos of families that I have captured in the past 10+ years. My family photography work naturally followed my wedding photography business as clients started having babies. Through my wedding photography, I have grown close with many clients and they feel like family. I have continued capturing these growing families over the years, and for some, have become their “family documentarian”. Family sessions are about capturing the special bond between members. Documenting those ordinary but unique details that are often taken for granted and yet, with time, will become invaluable. A relaxed and casual atmosphere during shooting will give your family photography sincere and natural emotion. To achieve it, I will do my best to ensure the light and friendly atmosphere is created to keep your family members emotionally relaxed being on a positive wave. Family portraits can be done in your own home, in the sand dunes of the Abu Dhabi or Dubai desert, the clear blue waters of the UAE beaches, the old Dubai neighborhood of Al Fahidi, or in a park.
