I'm based between Kent and Jersey in the Channel Islands, my family home. I've had a love of photography from an early age and I've been lucky enough to have been photographing weddings professionally for 11 years, and more recently families. I have a passion for creating authentic, honest imagery and have fallen in love with documenting family life. As a mother myself, I know all too well how quickly children grow up. I would have adored having those wonderful, funny, tricky, chaotic, emotional, real moments captured and that I had been in the frame! I love capturing the connections and dynamics between a family and freezing those moments that often as a parent go unseen. Magical moments in isolation. I come from a family of creatives so I suppose it was no surprise photography would be in my life. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me in the garden where I can totally lose myself or making sourdough!
I live on the Kent coast with my husband Steve, another photographer, and our French Bulldog, Ozzy. I've been a full time wedding photographer for almost 10 years, and have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I love the unpredictability of weddings and capturing moments that could never be preconceived. I take the same approach in my family photography, simply spending time with you all and seeing what happens and where the shoot takes us. Life moves by so fast; we all grow older, tiny babies become children, those children become teenagers and before long they are independent adults. With family photography, there's no time like the present to capture you all exactly as you are, at this moment in your lives. I have been a member of the WPJA since early 2010, and was their top UK photographer in 2016. In early 2017 I was awarded the title of ''Wedding Photographer of the Year'' in both the regional and national finals of The Wedding Industry Awards.
