I have always been passionate about cinema and since childhood, I was clear that I wanted to devote myself to audiovisual art. Hanging from a camera wherever I went, I decided that I wanted to dedicate myself professionally to my passion. I enrolled in Audiovisual Communication to acquire knowledge and become a specialist in different languages: photography, cinema, videos, multimedia, television, and radio. During the last years of my career, I launched myself into the world of work and began to work in films as "meritorious decoration." It was an interesting job because of my passion for cinema, but the decoration was not my thing, so I started to alternate different jobs as an edition and camera assistant. In 2004 I graduated and at the time I had the possibility, I took a camera and started recording and working as a camera operator. It was what I really liked and where I was going to put all my effort. During my professional career, I have worked with many producers, making fiction, advertising, corporate and programs. From each and everyone, I draw a valuable experience.
I’m a freelance photographer and journalist a Lithuanian native currently working in Andalusia, Spain. My work is my life and passion, I have spent the last 10 years capturing the daily life and family celebrations of countless unique and wonderful people. It doesn't matter whether it's your long vacation weekend, your holiday adventure, or expat life in Southern Spain. Invite me to create your family’s personal photo story about love, happiness, chaos, and drama. There is no better time than now. What inspires me to create the images the way I do? Childhood itself. I see childhood as the most positive period of a person’s life. In childhood, daily life happens moods, emotions, relationships, brilliant ideas, freedom. All this dynamic exists in each and every family. It’s mine, as a photographer’s choice, to select particular moments, to tell the family’s story. So I choose positive ones. I speak Lithuanian, English, Spanish and Russian.
By taking pictures of my sons, the value of small everyday moments became and becomes really clear to me. I photograph them during game and mischief, during fun moments and crying parties, during fraternization and quarrels. These pictures say so much about them and their personality that I am sure that they will cherish these memories the most later. I also want to realize these memories with you. I live and work in Landegem near Ghent, but as a photographer, I come everywhere. A trip abroad is also perfectly possible.
My approach to family and wedding photography is that of a documentary. I do not intervene, or really little, and I prefer the capture of candid images. My main goal is to tell your story and to transcribe in images what moves me in your real life. With this in mind, I am particularly attentive to MOMENTS. I want to leave you something about the beauty of your family ties, and I like to document with sincere and authentic photographs, the life of the families who entrust me with this beautiful mission.
My personal photographic heritage is quite poor and I often regret it, all those moments that I let fall through time ... In the continuity of my work for the couples in the wedding universe, I like to capture the moments of life, the real life. This motivates my professional goals, follow you on a chosen moment in order to propose images that will allow you to constitute a precious family patrimony. Your family is beautiful, see you soon.
Of course, I am a mother.. two young daughters that are up to no good most of the time.. and that creates wonderful, real and true moments! Funny or sweet, naughty or nice, it's all there! So, therefore, I absolutely love shooting families. But for me... it goes a bit further.. in this day and time we are all so busy, on our phones, on social media and working. Therefore I believe we need these Family moments. We need to go outside.. shut down our phones, and play. Just have fun... let kids be kids. and my heart melts when I'm there capturing those wonderful, precious moments. I've always had a thing with kids, I seem to attract them and relate to them. Is it because I'm really short and up to their level? Or because I never lost the kid in myself? Anyway.. it really helps and I can capture kids how they truly are! Those little unique characters.. always amazing when parents tell me I've captured their true spirit!

Ambre is an award-winning wedding and family photojournalist based in Auvergne. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in photography in the Ecole de Condé, Northern France, in 2014, and her work has been exhibited in France, Portugal and Canada.
It all began more than thirty years ago: a childhood rocked by distant travels, the stories of great explorers, in the midst of world maps and 16mm film rushes, then the discovery of silver and silver photography of the dark room. But fifteen years in the world of large companies, in France and abroad - including several years in South America - made me feel the need to slow down the course of my life to find my first wonders, and the ability to observe and decipher our world to make it more intimate. Photography, which until then had naturally and discreetly accompanied me, suddenly took a more important place. I took a step by perfecting myself at the Gobelins School of Image. Today, as a family photographer, I share myself between Paris, the Mediterranean, Brittany and long journeys, which remain a great passion and source of inspiration.
Small and big stories; little visual tales, which, over the years, add up to each other's book of life. Created by a family photojournalist with a passion for the reportage-style, photography and film, the Tiny Tales project arise by vocation, with the ambition to capture the beautiful, the absurd, the caricato or the frowning. What your life you have to show us. Because all love stories - and often leave whole sections to tell.
