Documentary Family Photography for Ticino, Switzerland
Are you Ready to Schedule a Documentary Family Photo Session?
FAMILY COMES FIRST - Recently, some of our Switzerland family photojournalists have communicated their readiness to work with families who are able to carry on with their normal life and who want it documented. Family Photojournalist Association professional members offer a distinct and natural style of unobtrusive photography that will capture genuine, candid moments of you, your children, and even extended family enjoying time together...everyone gets in the pictures and you will likely forget the photographer is even there.
The purpose of documentary family photography is to tell a story — your story. You will be able to feel the love that you have for one another in the images. You will see the beauty that results when you are not posed or directed by your photographer to sit in a contrived position and smile on command at the camera. The FPJA has an abundance of top-ranked, Ticino family photographers who are available right now. Find yours today!

I'm MaFe, this is my short-name to Maria Fernanda. I am an ex-lawyer with an MBA, who after leaving my country and living different international experiences, and working as a Business planner reinvented myself 13 years ago into a very passionate documentary photographer celebrating people's lives in the places I have been. I started doing photojournalistic reportage in Miami. I have trained with many top photojournalists from the USA, and documented weddings as well as family and teens for 5 years in Panama. Established in Switzerland now for 9 years I have also documented weddings, families and business. As I became a mother of 2 small boys (5 and 7 years) I also document my very own family the same way I do for others. Now I want to meet you and celebrate with you from very honest and beautiful perspective images that will make you embrace your everyday life, documenting your routines and what seems like a normal day to you. Because it is in those tiny but important moments that we dedicate to our job, our family that builds a connection between you and the ones who surround your story and as time passes they will become unforgettable memories that bring us back to who we are, to our own essence.
Charlène, 38 years old… married and mother of 2 teenage boys and 1 little girl! I like to spend my Sundays with the family around board games or a common activity in nature. I like to travel in backpack mode, and openness, tolerance and respect are important qualities for me. I am a feminist and vegetarian, close to nature and animals (we have 2 cats and a dog). We try to be zero waste as much as possible with the family and to be green in our daily life in the countryside. I am sensitive to different causes and I support certain associations for the protection of nature and the oceans such as sea shepherd. I love Do It Yourself and artistic activities, of course, photography is one of them. Take pictures of my children, capture that particular little pout that makes me crack, My grandfather was an amateur photographer, he was the one who filled our family albums with cousins every vacation with them. And surely he who transmitted this passion to me! Every vacation I took (and still enjoy!) Leafing through our albums he was preparing and discovering old family photos in old boxes! Without him, we would have few photos. Unfortunately, I have little of me with my parents or my sister and it is a huge regret. The few photos I have are very valuable. Portraits are good, but family life with our parents on them and being able to remember them, our relationships, what we were doing together at the time is invaluable. So it was only natural that I turned to lifestyle photography for birth and family, for these memories… for your children! I can't wait to learn more about you and create great memories for you !!
