Hi, I'm Sam: a photo-taking, baby-making, adventure-seeking mama + photographer. For my "Real Life Family" sessions, I prefer to ditch the park setting and capture your family as you REALLY ARE. I offer both "Breakfast" and "Bedtime" sessions, where I shadow your crew for a few hours either first thing in the morning, or last in the evening, to capture the details of your world and the moments that make up your days. Let's trade in the matching outfits on the beach for pajamas with a side of morning cuddles and teeth brushing, or dinner time chaos and bedtime stories. Or invite me along for your day at Disney or fishing in the Keys! Come home from vacation with a souvenir that really brings back the memories and keeps them for safe keeping. I'm a mother of two myself, and nothing we own means more to me then our family albums: easily the first thing I'd grab on the way out if the place was on fire. Those albums begin at birth, and there are few things like the honor of taking someone's very first portrait. I've had the joy of supporting women in labor and documenting the last leg of their journey to meeting their new babies. There's nothing like it. Before becoming parents, my husband and I specialized in destination wedding photography and have had the pleasure to document wedding celebrations all over the United States, the Bahamas, and into Europe. Beyond photography, I love being a mom and a wife, gardening, decorating, dancing, traveling, sewing, clean sheets, dinner parties, snow boarding, camping, IPAs, hiking, and that tingly feeling when you first get into a hot bath. I love great late-night conversations that dig deep, karaoke in dive bars where people are performing like they're on the verge of a midlife crisis, and the rush of Christmas mornings. And I'd love to connect with fresh families that dig my style and would like to document their families.
