Savoie family photography by Nadine Court, of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes France

I love life, my children, my husband, my life. I still have 30 years in my head even though I know it was a long time ago that I no longer have them. I am proud to be a Quebecer and I do everything to share my origins with my children. Eternal optimist - Adept of positive thinking, pipelette in my spare time, spontaneous, bitter teddy. I like gardening (organic), I'm green, I make more and more my housewares and we have a goal zero waste for the family and I travel by bike or on foot. I believe in citizen mobilization to improve the world. And for the more futile side, I like to eat, I cook a lot (no industrial dishes at home), I like to taste a good wine, pasta, my darling's good homemade bread, raspberries (moss Raspberry dark chocolate is what I prefer !!). I like walks in nature, traveling, Italy, my friends, my cat, American and Quebec TV series, knitting, Quebec music, my job ... And I like meeting new people! :-)

Vendee is home to French family photojournalist Sybil Rondeau.

I am a photographer because I can put order into my world this way and give it a meaning. When everything comes in its right place in my viewfinder, nothing is more satisfying! I am passionate, perfectionist, independent, workaholic. As far as I can remember, I have always been looking for an artistic way to express myself. Some years ago, when I got my first camera, I immediately knew it was it! A revelation and immediate passion quickly focused to portrait and social pictures.

Marine Poron is a family photographer, mother, and based in Paris, France.

I am Marine, professional photographer since 2002, mother of 2 beautiful children, based in Paris, France. What moves me? Love, of course! I'm addicted to emotions, I like the laughter, the tears of joy, and the impression they leave in our hearts. I love family albums, how they trace our history and define us. That is why I really think it's important to keep beautiful images of the highlights of our lives. After studying philosophy and acquiring a degree in visual arts, I became, in 2002, an assistant to Marc Riboud (former president of Magnum Photos). At the same time I produced my first photojournalistic assignments, interested in relations between individuals, family and living areas. Until 2007, I created photojournalistic assignments, working with French press and performed in parallel event-reports, and private (portraits, weddings, etc. ...). In 2007, I became a mother for the first time and found it difficult to balance work and motherhood. Ernestine et sa famille is a life plan to adapt my professional life to my family life in harmony with my values. Today, I propose my photojournalistic expertise for your corporate and private events. Taking the time to know you, to really understand who you are, and your relationships with those you love, that's the secret of my work and gives it meaning. I produce wedding and life photo-reportage. I have a candid and documentary approach. No matter if it's your wedding day or a day in your family life, the way i work is the same, i document your day, capturing the story of your day, and putting human being at the center of my attention. I tell a story, your story. REAL LIFE IS SO MORE INTERESTING! I tell a story, your story.

Sylvain Garderes, France and Nouvelle-Aquitaine family photographer

I love stories. Great stories and everyday stories. I started photography when I was 12. A friend gave me a camera because she thought I was "able". Then I shot stories, real or written. I started my professional activity while I was finishing my studies in a great french Cinema School. I love the moment, and I love when I capture one. I love instant and instinct. I don't like to talk about myself, my photographs are more talkative. I'm french, working in Pau, Biarritz and worldwide. I'm 39, two daughters.

Studio portrait of France and Centre-Val de Loire family photographer Nathanael Charpentier

It's about ten years since I became a photographer. But I will not tell you the story of "passionate about photography from an early age ..." because to be honest, I arrived in this environment by chance. It was a question of meeting especially. But over time, what was initially a simple job became a passion. Already thanks to the similarities that I have been able to find with my initial vocational vocation in specialized education, which has allowed me to develop human qualities and this desire to put know-how at the service of the other. Psychology, the faculty of adaptation, understanding, and accompaniment are an integral part of my approach.

Annie Gozard is a family photojournalist from France and Île-de-France

I find my inspiration in both social documentary and fashion shoots. As a family photographer, my goal is to capture decisive moments of the day. Photography entered in my life when I was 15 and never quit me. It is important for me to treat each client as unique. I live in France and love to travel all around the world to learn about other cultures and different ways of life. These experiences nourish my own work.

Estelle Chhor is a French Family Photojournalist from Herault

My approach to family and wedding photography is that of a documentary. I do not intervene, or really little, and I prefer the capture of candid images. My main goal is to tell your story and to transcribe in images what moves me in your real life. With this in mind, I am particularly attentive to MOMENTS. I want to leave you something about the beauty of your family ties, and I like to document with sincere and authentic photographs, the life of the families who entrust me with this beautiful mission.

Florent Cattelain is a family photographer based in Occitanie and Haute-Garonne.

Photographer since 2011 I specialized in wedding reporting. I was able to discover this environment and bloom there. After having accompanied nearly 100 couples and by dint of work, I am proud to see many of my images rewarded by international professional bodies. In 2016 a little guy comes to upset my certainties. I discover the joys of fatherhood and find with my partner how children grow up quickly. I had a click, an intense desire to explore the world of childhood and family. That's why I decided to look at family photos as I do for weddings, as a documentary, a photographic story that allows a family to tell, to tell each other to share memories (authentic ) forever.

France and Nouvelle-Aquitaine are home to family and wedding photographer Chrystel Echavidre

My personal photographic heritage is quite poor and I often regret it, all those moments that I let fall through time ... In the continuity of my work for the couples in the wedding universe, I like to capture the moments of life, the real life. This motivates my professional goals, follow you on a chosen moment in order to propose images that will allow you to constitute a precious family patrimony. Your family is beautiful, see you soon.

France based family photographer, Maryline Krynicki.

I photograph your family, as a reporter could do to capture real moments, your emotions, and, for the challenge of making artistic and authentic photos. I photograph you in your daily life, at the events that count for you, the baptisms of your children, their birthdays and of course, during your wedding. I'll be present at your side, discreetly, during these important moments, to immortalize your family life and document your family history.

La Rochelle family photography by Florent Fauqueux - Nouvelle-Aquitaine Charente-Maritime France FPJA

Why am I a photographer? Because I don't know how to sing :) In fact, it's the shortest way I've found to touch people's hearts ... Since the birth of my son in 2010, the portrait fascinates me, the beauty of a face, the harmony of a silhouette ... I marvel at the daily diversity of our bodies and our faces. A few years later, with the arrival of my daughter, this quest for aesthetics has evolved. I understood that an image was nothing without an intention, a laugh, a feeling ... This is how the family has become my greatest source of inspiration. I feel today a deep joy to give you my vision of the small daily happiness, as great moments of life! In short, I found what really matters.

Portrait of Paris family photographer Faith Iskandar

Tired of posed lifestyle, Insta-perfect images that crowd social media today, Faith strives to capture real, authentic everyday moments that you'd want to keep forever. The goal is to have beautiful images that document your life right now, photos that you will treasure over the years, that tell your family story. "Growing up, my grandfather always had a video camera in hand. He recorded everything- weekday dinners, birthday parties, trips to the mall, playing the piano, performances, from every day to big moments, he's documented them all. However, this is something that he began when he first had kids, photographing his wife and children in the various homes and countries they lived in. Half his lifetime later, I get a glimpse into his life before I was born and into moments I don't remember." It's from this deep appreciation that Faith has for her grandfather's life-long effort that drives her to create the same for you. The challenge is that because we live it, we don't see the beauty in our own every day. And sometimes it just requires the decision to invite an extra pair of eyes into your home and you'll have tangible memories to show to the next generation.

David Pommier is a family photojournalist based in Lyon, France

Because the family is joys, sadness, clean meals, dirty meals, games, holidays, real life, children, parents and even grandparents. Because family is all that, so I want to photograph real families. I like portraits hanging on the wall of the house but I also like family albums that we look at Christmas and tells our story. I am a documentary family photographer. I have been this human photographer for a few years now. My work is done on Lyon but not only. Many of the photographs you will see were taken in Paris, Geneva, Courchevel .. And I want to come to meet you in Barcelona, Madrid, London, Berlin. I like to travel and I like to meet you.

Portrait of Pau, France Documentary Family Photographer Damien Dohmen

I have been a photographer since 2014. Before that, I was in charge of HR in big corporate business; photography at first was a way to let out some steam, it was a very demanding job requiring a lot of letting go. One day I got fed up with my job, decided to devote my time to my passion and started retraining. Today, I can reconnect with what I liked in my HR job, help people write their own stories and memories. I need it, it’s my fuel. Family photography is my media to tell a story and render what I learned about people. It helps me keep faith in humanity and in feelings we too often try to hide. I also do a lot of corporate photography along with personal projects.

Lifestyle portrait of Paris family photographer Charline Eberhardt - Ile-de-France FPJA

I discovered photography as a little girl. It has always been a part of our life to be taken in pictures and create memories that last forever. When I was 18, my parents offered my 1st camera of my own. I tried to use it the best I could but didn't really take the time to go further. In 2009, I started to work at Sony, in marketing and discovered the world of photographers that reminded me how much I loved it. I started to ask a lot of questions and got interested into the technology & techniques. In 2013, I have decided to quit everything and leave for a round the World trip. 2 years on my own, with my backpack and a camera, to encounter as many people as possible and take pictures to see if I really like it as a job. And guess what? When I came back, I have decided to take the leap and I founded my company in 2016. I immediately started to shoot families with an approach to document real life, the everyday moments, and completely fell in love with it. Now you know me a little bit more: I'm a travel addict, who loves taking photos and telling beautiful stories of life through my pictures. I want to meet you, to discover you and to capture everything you feel with my camera. I’m completely addicted to smiles, happiness, close-knit families, crazy couples and people who want to enjoy life. For now, I am based in Paris but I travel everywhere for my work, in France but also Worldwide. Take me for my next adventure with you, with a great sound of your favorite music in the ears.

France Lifestyle Photographer Coralie Garavel

I'm a lifestyle photographer since 2015 in France, around Lyon. In love with the arts and above all with manual work, I immediately knew that I wanted to be an artist. Every year I do two or three different workshops with some very nice photographers. Learning to go beyond myself and finding my style is important to me, I need that. I realize every day that passes the happiness that I have to do this exceptional job. A chance to work with you, to let my curiosity wander through your stories. It is often said that curiosity is a bad thing, it is for me the opportunity to know you better to create images that look like you. I do this job out of passion and because I do not see myself doing anything else.

Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Gironde family photographer Isabelle Dohin - France FPJA

I discovered the picture from an early age because I was lucky that dad was a photo enthusiast and we had, at home, a dark room, in which I loved to lose myself! The silver was my first love, then very quickly the digital with its innumerable possibilities to preserve preciously, like a treasure, your sweetest memories. I live near Bordeaux and I travel all over France and abroad to make your memories unforgettable moments ...

Johan Faure is a family photojournalist from Lyon - France.

Passionate about photos since my youngest age, I have always been attracted to the human adventure and the different feelings that a simple photo can convey. Over the years and meetings, I developed my vision and my sensibilities to share with you your little joys and great emotions.

Family Photojournalist Estelle Offroy of France

I work without filters and without effects. I have my favorite tools, the technique is not a problem. I work in natural light, and I adapt to all situations. Every photo I give you has been carefully selected and embellished by me. I like to take the time to reveal the spirit of each, I like the fresh colors and without makeup, I want your photos to go through the years without becoming obsolete. What touches me most is seeing people who love each other. And it is the daily gestures that transmit love, much better, and much more often than words ... These movements, these looks, these moments are an inexhaustible source of energy for your family. Today, while everyone "poses" in front of the lens (tiny) of his phone, I suggest you discover the joys of the natural photo and not asked! It's simple, choose a photographer that you like and with whom you feel comfortable (you're there, and that's good too!). Book a time together (a morning, an afternoon, an evening ... 3h is good to take the time to forget). And then ... LIVE!

Somme family photographer Nao Fujiwara of Hauts-de-France

I am a photographer of family and marriage in Abbeville, in the Somme, in Hauts de France. The distance does not scare me, I am ready to move everywhere in France and even everywhere in the world if you wish. I am Japanese, mother of two children. My childhood was shared between France and Japan and I rubbed French even being in Japan, China, or the United States. I met my dear French husband in Tokyo. I speak perfect French and Japanese and also English (I lived 5 years in the United States, Texas) and a little Chinese. I was often called Little Nao hence the name "Little Nao Photography". I like to immortalize the emotions, the moments on the spot, without artifice, without posing. Discreetly or by interacting with my subjects, I observe and I always stand ready to capture the decisive moments. What I'm trying to photograph is the extraordinary in the ordinary. Whether at a special event or a day like any other, I like to find beauty in banalities. My goal is to tell a story, to allow you to relive the moment through my photographs.

Antwerpen family photography by Christophe De Mulder - Serving Belgium and Flanders.

I was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. At a young age, I received my first camera as a birthday gift. Immediately, I started making pictures of everything and everybody around me. And I never stopped :) Now, being a father of two, I truly see the power of family photography. Not the posed portraits, that don't have any emotion in them, but the real moments. Moments that are not always beautiful (strawberries on a white rug, tantrums in the bathtub,...) but that I want to remember when my kids will be all grown up. Moments that show how a family sticks together, loves and comforts each other. And that's exactly what I want to give my clients.

Lifestyle portrait of Drenthe family photographer Jolanda Boer of Netherlands

Capturing family life is one of my biggest passions. Maybe because I love to photograph real moments in life. Maybe because I love the connections and love between family members or maybe because it's such an honest and pure way of photographing life. The idea of me capturing future memories for a whole family makes me want to try extra hard to find the little details and special moments of a family and photograph them. Next to that I also try to capture the biggest chaos as a perfect whole.

Antwerp family and wedding photographer Joshua Dhondt - FPJA of Belgium and Flanders

Photography and people are Joshua’s two greatest passions. Utterly curious – a nice legacy she got from her grandmother – she loves to meet new people, observe them and capture what they are all about. She is both outgoing and calm so to make everyone feel at ease. Very patient, she has a special radar for shenanigans. Her goal is to document small but great moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, to capture the moment just as it felt that day. She is a visual storyteller. Mostly self-taught, she has been a professional photographer for the last 11 years, full time since 2013. She is based in Antwerp, Belgium, and travels in (and sometimes out) Europe for Family, Day in the Life sessions and Weddings. She is at her best when shooting true, unstaged and profound moments and events – in a relaxed atmosphere.

East Flanders family photography by Ruth Wytinck, of Flanders Belgium

By taking pictures of my sons, the value of small everyday moments became and becomes really clear to me. I photograph them during game and mischief, during fun moments and crying parties, during fraternization and quarrels. These pictures say so much about them and their personality that I am sure that they will cherish these memories the most later. I also want to realize these memories with you. I live and work in Landegem near Ghent, but as a photographer, I come everywhere. A trip abroad is also perfectly possible.

Willeke lives with her boyfriend Ralph and her two beloved energetic sons in Arnhem, the city she loves because of the green nature that surrounds it. She loves life; small things make her happy like a full moon, sunrays, a beautiful little bird in her garden, the smell of springtime, the smile of a stranger, kids conversations and kids fantasy plays. Belgium family photographer Emilie Marchandise works all around Wallonie.

My passion for photography began long ago when I was gifted a camera for my 18th birthday. From this day I traveled around the world with my camera and the beautiful landscapes and wonderful light inspired me to take pictures. Then, the joy of becoming a mother reinforced my artistic eye. I discovered the happiness of seizing the present moments with my children growing up: their games and laughter, their imagination, their joy of discovery and the variety of emotions I could feel. My passion for capturing raw emotion and true moments grew more and more! And little by little it became obvious that I wanted to live my passion and to tell unique stories to last a lifetime. So, I decided to quit my position of professor in biomechanics to become a professional documentary photographer.

Valencia Spain Family Photographer Antonio Calatayud

I have always been passionate about cinema and since childhood, I was clear that I wanted to devote myself to audiovisual art. Hanging from a camera wherever I went, I decided that I wanted to dedicate myself professionally to my passion. I enrolled in Audiovisual Communication to acquire knowledge and become a specialist in different languages: photography, cinema, videos, multimedia, television, and radio. During the last years of my career, I launched myself into the world of work and began to work in films as "meritorious decoration." It was an interesting job because of my passion for cinema, but the decoration was not my thing, so I started to alternate different jobs as an edition and camera assistant. In 2004 I graduated and at the time I had the possibility, I took a camera and started recording and working as a camera operator. It was what I really liked and where I was going to put all my effort. During my professional career, I have worked with many producers, making fiction, advertising, corporate and programs. From each and everyone, I draw a valuable experience.

Mihai Zaharia is a Romanian Family Photojournalist of Bucharest

Professional family photographer since 2011. I love shooting authentic images, candid shots that capture real moments as they occur naturally throughout the day. These images are my main focus when shooting families. And I strongly believe they are the most important and the most relevant images of a family. I try to be as unintrusive as possible. Although I'm not “a fly on the wall” - I tend to stay in the middle of the action, working close to people with my wide-angle lens.

Emilie Valet is a family photographer based in Wallonie - Belgium Family Photojournalist Association.

I have always been attracted by pictures. Child I did a lot of drawing and painting ... Teen, I cut pictures in fashion magazines, I made collages... One day I inherited my parents’ old camera. A small compact camera (film camera obviously) ... and I discovered the magic of the photos. At 18, I emptied my bank account to buy a reflex ... and from that moment, I was unstoppable! With the birth of my children, my passion took a new turn, I had even more desire to tell things and to keep track of all these precious moments that we lived and that I saw spinning at full speed! The idea that others surely also wanted to have images of their lives, their daily moments, then sprouted. I wanted to tell other stories, to enrich everyone's memories. And to do it for them, as I did for myself, means to be immersed in their daily life to capture real, natural and spontaneous moments of life.

Studio portrait of Porto documentary family photographer Angela Azevedo, of Portugal

Small and big stories; little visual tales, which, over the years, add up to each other's book of life. Created by a family photojournalist with a passion for the reportage-style, photography and film, the Tiny Tales project arise by vocation, with the ambition to capture the beautiful, the absurd, the caricato or the frowning. What your life you have to show us. Because all love stories - and often leave whole sections to tell.
