Documentary Family Photography for Berlin, Germany
Are you Ready to Schedule a Documentary Family Photo Session?
FAMILY COMES FIRST - Recently, some of our Germany family photojournalists have communicated their readiness to work with families who are able to carry on with their normal life and who want it documented. Family Photojournalist Association professional members offer a distinct and natural style of unobtrusive photography that will capture genuine, candid moments of you, your children, and even extended family enjoying time together...everyone gets in the pictures and you will likely forget the photographer is even there.
The purpose of documentary family photography is to tell a story — your story. You will be able to feel the love that you have for one another in the images. You will see the beauty that results when you are not posed or directed by your photographer to sit in a contrived position and smile on command at the camera. The FPJA has an abundance of top-ranked, Berlin family photographers who are available right now. Find yours today!

It's an honour to provide families with images that reflect how their life is now - images that can be enjoyed in this moment, and treasured in the future. I'm from New Zealand, and after years working in educational development, am now living in Berlin, learning German, and following my passion in photography. My personal beliefs are reflected in the photos I take; they have the power to record, express and honour moments, that can be cherished again as time goes by.
If I'm not photographing a wedding, editing pictures or chilling out with newlyweds, you can probably find me doing sports. I love sports - moving around and being active. In my youth, I did swimming as a competitive sport for 10 years and was a national champion among other things. Weekend after weekend I was in the swimming pools in Germany and Europe and measured myself against others, fought for tenths and hundredths, but also made many friendships. Even if I have turned my back on competitive sports, not a day goes by that I do not move. Athletics, running, and now and then I go into the water without any pressure to perform a few laps - or rather a few kilometers - to swim. I just like to push myself to my physical limits.
I am Nina, a documentary family photographer based near Hamburg, Germany. I am specialized in full-day family reportages for which my heart always skips a beat. I want families to fall in love with their lives and I want to empower them for acknowledging their uniqueness. Creating art from true stories of real-life is what drives me and I want children to see where they come from. If you are looking for someone who follows you around for a day like the good friend who hasn't been visiting for a long time, ready for a chat when you are but otherwise happy with a piece of cake and a good cup of tea, then let's chat and make plans. I am looking forward to telling your stories. With love, Nina
We are also a family. Therefore, we know how important it is to have memories and to keep them, despite how quickly time passes. One day we wanted to photograph happiness, and we asked ourselves, where is it? At that moment we realized something that we had not been able to see. We were able to understand that happiness does not come from trips or specific things we can do, from an event or a celebration, but that real happiness is with us every day, in the routine of our life, of our home, together with the people we love the most: in games, in the bedtime story, in the afternoons lying on the couch watching a movie and eating popcorn, on walks to the park ...
